About Us

The Student Life and Leadership office is dedicated to the enhancement and advancement of Purdue Fort Wayne students by providing co-curricular opportunities which complement academic pursuits and learning beyond the classroom. The Student Life and Leadership staff seeks to provide an atmosphere, where students not only learn, but are challenged, supported and heard. With this mission, the Student Life and Leadership office promotes the personal and professional development of Purdue Fort Wayne students, the leaders of today and tomorrow.

The Student Life and Leadership Office plans, implements, and assesses programming designed to foster student learning and development, enhance community, and promote student satisfaction.

In addition, the department encourages and assists student organizations in planning, implementing, and assessing programming for those purposes. Student Life and Leadership works in partnership with student government in the recognition of student organizations; provides leadership development training for students and student organizations; recommends policies related to the development and management of student organizations; allocates space to student organizations; provides training and support for student organization advisors; and serves as a liaison between student organizations and Purdue Fort Wayne administrative and academic units.

Student Life and Leadership oversees Intramural Sports, The Pantry at Purdue Fort Wayne, Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) program; campus posting policy; maintains a calendar for student events on campus; coordinates campus-wide student communications, maintains campus-wide digital signage, and assists in other Purdue Fort Wayne activities, services, and programs as requested and assigned.
