Objective
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Undergraduate Conference Travel Program supports the efforts of Purdue Fort Wayne undergraduate students who are involved in faculty-mentored research projects.
Eligibility
To be eligible, a student must have a paper accepted for presentation at a professional conference being held in the United States.
Award
Subject to availability, funding may be awarded up to $250. No funding will be awarded without confirmation of the level of financial support from the department and the college/school.
Students are eligible to receive support for one conference per academic year.
Application Process
To apply, the faculty mentor must submit an Application Form along with the letter of acceptance to the student from the conference organizers. Submit completed applications to sponsoredprograms@pfw.edu.
Applications are accepted on a continual basis and are awarded based on the availability of funds.
Requirements
Upon return, the student must provide a brief summary of the presentation and conference experience (no more than one page) to OSP.
