Summer Research Support Program


The Undergraduate Summer Research Support Program supports the efforts of Purdue Fort Wayne undergraduate students who are engaged in faculty-mentored research and creative activities.


All Purdue Fort Wayne undergraduates engaged in faculty-mentored research or creative activities are eligible.


Successful applicants will receive $1,000 (paid directly to student) to support their research during the summer.

Application Process

Please see the Call for Proposals for detailed information. Cover sheet must be included with the application. Please submit completed application as a single PDF file to the Office of Sponsored Programs at

Proposals are due no later than 3:00 pm on February 28, 2019.

Letters of recommendation may be submitted as separate PDFs but must be received by the 3:00 pm deadline in order for the application to be considered complete. 


Successful applicants are required to submit a report of research activities no later than October 1 following the period of the grant. Successful applicants are also strongly encouraged to present their project at the annual Student Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium.
