Purdue University Fort Wayne Crosslist Policy
This Purdue University Fort Wayne Crosslist Policy governs crosslist requests, including additions and other changes.
Due to technical requirements of the Brightspace Learning Management System, requests must be made by the published crosslist deadline for each term to be automatically approved. Deadlines for upcoming semesters and terms will be posted and communicated to you. In general, the crosslist request deadline is 3-weeks prior to the start date. Requests must be made by departments using the Change to Schedule of Classes (Form 200). Form submissions will be reviewed and you will be notified when the crosslist change has been implemented.
For requests made after the deadline, the approval process is more complex and requires ITS analysis of the course, enrollment, content, and grading. Late requests may be denied if they fail to meet the detailed approval criteria. Our goal is to approve crosslist requests when possible, but technical limitations and student experience will sometimes prevent this.
