ABOUT OMSA

The Office of Major Scholarship Advising (OMSA) is the central coordinating office providing information, advice, and support to students who wish to apply for nationally competitive major scholarships.

The OMSA scholarships are highly competitive, usually requiring a minimum overall GPA of 3.75 or higher. In addition to academic excellence, each scholarship requires that applicants have an outstanding record of at least one of the following:

  • service
  • leadership
  • research

If you want to compete for one or more major scholarships, schedule a meeting with the Director of the Office, Dr. Noor O'Neill Borbieva, at borbievn@pfw.edu or at (260) 481-6266. OR, enter your contact information and interests here: https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bloFKROHAfmXIxM. Meetings will be held in the Honors suite in Helmke, or in Dr. Borbieva's Zoom Room.
