Bruce Kingsbury, Associate Dean

Bruce Kingsbury is Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor of Biology, and Director of the Environmental Resources Center. As associate dean, his responsibilities center on faculty and academic program development. In Biology, he teaches courses in behavior and conservation, and has a very active research program on wildlife ecology and management, particularly with respect to endangered reptiles. He and his students are involved in numerous empirical and applied studies throughout the Midwestern United States on snakes, turtles, and other wildlife. Faculty and staff associated with the Environmental Resources Center promote the understanding and conservation of natural resources in the region. They focus their efforts not only on wildlife, but also other topics such as natural landscapes and water quality. Personnel collaborate with the City of Fort Wayne and other regional entities to build partnerships to pursue the ERC mission.
