Application Fee Waiver

Prospective students who attend an open house for any of the Purdue Fort Wayne graduate programs qualify for an application fee waiver. Attendees must sign in with Purdue Fort Wayne staff in order to receive eligibility for the fee waiver. Staff will be responsible for recording attendees.

To use the fee waiver, applicants must take the following steps:

  1. Start a Purdue University Fort Wayne Graduate School application at (click on the "Apply Now" button on the left hand side of the page).
  2. On the "Additional Information" page, you'll find the question: "If you are a member of a Purdue University recruitment program, please select from the list below..." In the drop-down menu, select "Attended PFW Graduate School Open House." This will trigger an email to the Office of Graduate Admissions.

Within two weeks, applicants will receive a return email indicating whether or not the application fee has been waived. If you qualify for a waiver, DO NOT pay the application fee before the fee has been waived as it is non-refundable.

Applicants are eligible for one application fee waiver per application submitted. Fee waivers are valid until December 31, two years after the applicant became eligible. For example, if an applicant participated in the Big Ten+ Graduate School Expo in September 2018, he/she must apply and request the fee waiver by December 31, 2020.
