Jordan Trendelman - Part 1 Video Transcript
JORDAN TRENDELMAN: My name is Jordan Trendelman. My program is the Bachelor's of Applied Sciences with a minor in visual design. I had originally received my degree from Ivy Tech Columbus in graphic design, before transferring to PFW. It'd been a degree that I hadn't used in the professional workplace, but it did help in establishing parameters for finishing a bachelor's degree here at Purdue Fort Wayne.
For me, Purdue Fort Wayne was a choice that was primarily based on proximity and ease of process. As a returning student in my 40s, I was looking for the quickest possible way to reach my goals of achieving a bachelor's degree for an opportunity to move on to a master's program out of the state. And so Purdue Fort Wayne just offered an ease of access and a flexibility of schedule that I was looking for as a working adult.
My favorite thing about Purdue Fort Wayne is that when on campus, it feels like its own little microcosm. It feels like its own little world. And despite the fact that there's the hustle and bustle of Fort Wayne all around it, the school has done a fantastic job of creating a little bubble, a little hub of learning. And even in the way that the grounds are kept-- and the utilities around campus just make it its own self-sustaining little ecosystem. And you really feel part of that while you're here.
