You can sign up for all personal training at the Fitness Center Front Desk. Registration is available for individual or buddy sessions. All Members, Purdue University Fort Wayne and Indiana University Fort Wayne students are eligible to receive a FREE personal training consultation.

Consultation
Your consultation will give you the tools to begin your lifestyle journey. This consultation includes a fitness assessment, goal setting, facility orientation and instruction on utilizing training techniques and equipment.

Jim is a graduate of Manchester University with a degree in Physical Education and Health Management and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist. He has been a personal trainer for over 30 years in the Fort Wayne and Indianapolis areas and is employed fulltime as an Exercise Specialist at Parkview Hospital. He has been a guest fitness speaker at Tapestry. Past clients have included professional and collegiate athletes, students, physicians, bodybuilders, professional dancers, and senior citizens. Jim has worked with clients with special needs such as weight loss, strength training, sport improvement, bodybuilding and also enjoys working with new students setting up a beginning exercise routine.
