About Our Staff

Cicelle Beemon, B.S.G, Student Outreach Coordinator

A native of Pomona, CA, and hometown of Fort Wayne, IN,  Cicelle has a Bachelor's degree in General Studies, with minors in Communication and Human Services from IPFW. She joined the ODMA staff in 2013 as the 21st Century Scholars Support Specialist through AmeriCorps Scholar Corps, and has been the Student Outreach Coordinator in the Center for Women and Returning Adults since July 2017. She is a member of the Allen County College and Career Coalition Success and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She was elected IPFW's Homecoming Queen in 2016.

Julie Creek, Director, Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs

A Bloomington native, Julie has a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from Macalester College, St. Paul, MN and a Master's in Journalism from Indiana University of Bloomington. A former print journalist with long experience in education writing, she came to IPFW in 2009 as the coordinator for the Center for Women and Returning Adults. She has been in her current position since July, 2014

    Elizabeth Grossman is a Freshman at IPFW. She is coordinates the Media and Marketing of The Center for Women and Returning Adults programs and events. She is currently pursuing a Fine Arts Major here at IPFW but is interested in Graphic Design. As a freshman, she hopes to gain new experiences and meet new, amazing people who can help her go beyond her limits. After graduation, Elizabeth plans to possibly go further her education with Graduate school and to earn a PhD in Fine Arts or art orientated.

Janelle Hall, Sexual Assault Prevention & Flying Start Coordinator

Janelle Hall is the Sexual Assault Prevention & Flying Start Coordinator for the Center for Women and returning Adults. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Psychology and Minors in Anthropology and Women's Studies. Janelle is a sexual health activist both on and off campus. She is an student organization officer for Generation Action at IPFW and IPFW OUTspoken, and a student member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. As a nontraditional student, Janelle is also passionate about encouraging students to feel welcome on their campus and receive the resources they need, no matter their background.
