Earn a Certificate of Achievement

A workshop denoted as “Certificate Eligible” (CE) means that a participant may apply to receive a certificate in recognition of the time spent attending the event and the effort expended toward applying the content to enhance the participant’s teaching. CELT conference-based workshops may also be denoted Certificate Eligible.

To be eligible for the CELT Certificate of Achievement, participants must:

  1. attend the entire event, usually 2-3 hours in length
  2. complete this short certificate application form, in which the applicant provides evidence to CELT of how the applicant has used the content of the event in any course or courses the applicant is teaching.

Please note that there is no time limit for completing the application after you have attended a CE event.

Earn a Certificate of Continuous Improvement of an Online Course

To receive this Certificate, your course must first be reviewed by an Online Course Design Reviewer. The Reviewer is a colleague who has received training in the peer review process. Use the link on the CELT Request for Services page to arrange your peer review. After the review has been completed the Reviewer will help you prepare an Action Plan for making changes in your course. After you implement the Action Plan, use this online form to apply for the Certificate and incentive.
