Adam Dircksen

Adam comes to CELT with a history of working with faculty, helping them to meet their teaching goals.  He earned his Master’s degree in Professional Communication at IPFW in 2002 and has since taught for the Department of Communication.  From 2008-2016, he served as Online Course Director for the Department of Communication, as a member of the Online Course Design Review Team, as Lead CELT Teaching Fellow, and as an Online Course Retention Mentor.  He is a member of FACET and has served on a recent FACET Leadership team (investigating IPFW student success in online courses) and on IPFW’s Teaching Alliance Outreach team.  He is committed to the continuous improvement of teaching at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Instructional Consultant/Designer
Kettler Hall, Room 238

She holds a Masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Department of Instructional Systems Technology, Indiana University. She taught technology integration courses and introductory instructional design course at Western Illinois University and Indiana University-Bloomington. Xiaokai also conducted program evaluations for federal or community-funded early childhood wellness programs. At CELT, Xiaokai will be working with faculty, departments, and administrators to promote effective teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes in face-to-face, blended, and online learning environments that utilize technology in a significant way.

AmitAmit Chauhan

Instructional Technology Consultant
Kettler Hall, Room 238

Amit completed his MS in Instructional Technology from the University of Bridgeport and recently received his PhD in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies (ISLT) from the Florida State University (FSU). Amit’s has over 12+ years’ experience working extensively with computer applications to deliver training and learning solutions for Fortune 100 companies and higher education institutions.  While attending Florida State University for his PhD, Amit worked with TCC Online, Tallahassee Community College and the Office of Distance Learning (ODL) at the Florida State University where he provided faculty and institutional support for the two institutions newly adopted LMS – Canvas. Amit also assisted faculty with all their course development needs including course migrations, course design and development, and the research, application and integration of instructional tools and technology

Regina Gordon

Program Assistant
Kettler Hall, Room 238

Regina  is CELT’s Program Assistant. She is a graduate of IPFW and holds a Master’s in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor’s in General Studies. She came to CELT from TRIO Student Support Services. Regina assists with CELT events, processes Class Climate evaluations,  manages the Scantron grading system, and maintains the CELT website. In her spare time Regina serves on the Board of Windsong Pictures, is a member of the Allen County Health Disparity Coalition, serves as an Ambassador for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, and founder of Sarcoidosis Fort Wayne a support group for individuals with Sarcoidosis.


Jo'Niqua Turner

Student Worker 
Kettler Hall, Room 238

Jo'Niqua is CELT's Student Worker. She is a standing freshman at Purdue Fort Wayne,  Majoring in Communications. Jo'Niqua plans to graduate from Purdue University and work in the media field as a broadcaster. She is also a first generation student and is a part of the TRIO Program. Her duties for the CELT office is grading scantrons, editing website/videos/pictures, and other source of media material.
