Collegiate Connection

Withdrawal and Refunds

How do I drop a dual credit course at my high school?

If you need to drop/withdraw from the college credit portion of your Collegiate Connection course, you must complete a withdrawal request form, obtain signatures, and either scan and e-mail the Collegiate Connection office or mail the form to PUFW Collegiate Connection, 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 by the published deadlines below. Failure to pay for classes, not attending classes, or notifying your high school about your decision to withdraw does not constitute a formally recognized withdrawal, nor does it entitle you to a refund. You are responsible for all fees unless you complete and send the withdrawal form to the Collegiate Connection office during the refund period.

If you need to also drop from the high school credit portion of the class, you should consult with your high school guidance counselor. Withdrawing from the high school portion of your Collegiate Connection course is a separate process from withdrawing from the college credit portion of the class.

What is the deadline for dropping?

The Collegiate Connection program works with many high schools and many different schedules. The refund and withdrawal deadlines are in your Collegiate Connection Student Handbook that you received with your schedule of classes. You may download and print a copy of the Student Handbook 2018-2019. Click on your high school name to see the withdrawal schedule for your school.
