What is it?

The Endorsed Career Ready program is a certificate granted to students upon completion stating that they are prepared for the professional world. This preparation is done through the student’s professional exploration, professional development and professional networking.

History of the program

This program was originally developed by the Career Development Professional of Indiana (CDPI). It has recently been revamped to match the needs of  students, by the office of Career Services. The office has been continuing to educate employers on the value of Endorsed students as well as directing them to those students through both LinkedIn and the offices website.

Graduates of this program complete activates in the following areas:

Educate: exploring strengths and careers and developing tools to market skills to employers

Develop: building relevant experience as well as training in professional practices

Connect: developing core, transferable skills and experience through real world experience

Endorsed leads you step-by-step through the career preparation process during your college years. To help you stand out to employers, you will:

  • Identify strengths & enhance your marketable skill
  • Build and document your professional experience
  • Learn how to convey your value to employers
  • Have 1:1 guidance from a career services professional
  • Receive a certificate upon completion to add to your professional portfolio
  • Also receive an endorsement from our office of your readiness for professional work
