Andrew Bourne, a resident of Denver, works as a political consultant and advises various political campaigns throughout the country. A former basketball player for the Mastodons, he graduated summa cum laude from IPFW.

Upon graduation, Bourne worked as an educator for Fort Wayne Community Schools and as the director of Early College at Ivy Tech Community College. He also served

as an assistant to the ambassador at the Department of State in Madrid, Spain, and worked at the White House under President Obama in the Communications Office. Bourne also was an instructor

for the department of Technology and Communications at IPFW for nine years. In 2010 and 2011, he served as the coordinator of summer programming for international students, focusing on bringing more cultural awareness and idea exchange between Southeast Asia and the United States for northeast Indiana students. Bourne also served as a director at large of the IPFW Alumni Association from 2016 to 2017.
