Take advantage of work study

The office of Military Student Services employs veterans and currently serving students to work with our office to aid military students in their academic careers. These students are trained in aiding in the understanding of the G.I. Bills, as well as other academic financial benefits that are offered through Federal and State programs to assist in the payments of veteran students.

Graduation Day Honors

We recognize your service

On graduation day, Military Student Services honors our students in recognition of their military service to the United States of America. This honor comes in the form of a red, white, and blue Honor Cord to wear at the Purdue University Fort Wayne Commencement Ceremony.

Section 1018

Isakeson and Roe Act

Section 1018 of Public Law 116-315, Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020, adds new requirements for educational institutions participating in the educational assistance programs of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). These new provisions became effective June 15, 2021 and apply to Institutions of Higher Learning and Non-College Degree institutions beginning August 1, 2021.
