- I’m interested in learning if a TSAP program for an associate degree programs exists in my area of study. What should I do?
Are TSAP requirements for similar degrees the same?
The answer to this question varies depending upon the area of study. For example, the TSAP programs for mechanical engineering are NOT the same as mechanical engineering technology. However, the Associate of Science in Business Administration can lead to a major at Purdue University Fort Wayne in Accounting, Finance, or Marketing. The best way to know how TSAP programs work with programs at the four-year institution is to seek advising from academic advisors for your major at both institutions.
I have a choice of two courses in an area of my two-year degree. How do I determine if one course transfers better or fits better with my major?
To facilitate your success, you should always seek advising from academic advisors for your major at both institutions. This will help you to better meet all academic requirements and best prepare you for your future career.
I have questions about transferring, who at PFW should I contact first?
Student Success and Transitions provides support for transfer students. Their website has important information about how to transfer whether you are just thinking about transferring, you have been admitted, or you have already transferred. You can reach the Transfer and Special Populations Coordinator by emailing email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, calling 260-481-0404, or setting an appointment to meet in Kettler Hall, Room 112.
I have submitted a transcript as part of the admission process but myBLUEprint or my student record does not show that the TSAP is completed. Why?
Oftentimes students submit an official transcript before they have received grades for courses being completed in the current semester. This makes sense as they are planning ahead to move into a Bachelor degree program. This means, however, that another official transcript needs to be submitted to Purdue University Fort Wayne so that we know all courses were completed and the TSAP degree was conferred.
