How is your PFW Scholarship is funded?
When you are admitted to the University, you may be offered a financial aid package that includes the PFW Scholarship. The PFW Scholarship is money that the University is guaranteeing you to assist with tuition and fees based on your qualifying admission GPA (test scores optional). The funding for the PFW Scholarship comes from many sources both inside and outside the University, including some private donor scholarships. Financial Aid will use a matching procedure to select qualified students for replacement aid and no application is required. Should you be prequalified and meet all the Donor’s expectations in the selection process the funds will be posted as replacement aid supporting your PFW Scholarship. You will be notified that your student account has been credited with these funds via go.PFW and will be sent a direct email from the Office of Financial Aid informing you of a change/update to your account.
Lastly, all students are encouraged to write a thank you note to donors. To learn how to submit your thank you note visit: Thanking Scholarship Donors.
