What you need to know about your bookstore credit
If you accepted your financial aid package and are expecting a refund, you can convert it to bookstore credits, which become available five weeks before classes start each semester. Available for use until the Friday before disbursement week, these credits can be used at Follett's Bookstore in Walb Student Union.
Using your bookstore credit essentially means you are borrowing from your refund. The max amount you can use for your bookstore credit is $700, but if you need more than that, you can wait until you get your refund the week before classes start.
The amount of bookstore credit you use will be applied to your student account and paid from your financial aid package.
You will not lose your bookstore credit money if you don't use it. The amount you do not use will be added to your refund. Therefore, there is no reason to get a gift card from the bookstore with the rest of your bookstore credit.
