General Information
The Computer, Electrical, and Information Technology department offers the Bachelor of Science with a major in electrical engineering technology. This degree provides technical preparation with an emphasis on laboratory and problem-solving skills which will help you prepare for employment in all areas of electronics, including microprocessor-based systems, digital and analog communications, digital and analog control, electrical power, microwave systems, and industrial control and automation. Many of the department’s more than 1,000 alumni hold technical and managerial positions nationwide.
