Three state-of-the art design studios containing Apple computers with industry standard software and worktables are central to the instructional process in the Department of Visual Communication and Design.

Also available are a print room equipped with color printers and flatbed scanners. Dedicated photography darkrooms and a lighting studio are available to VCD students. Large format printing is available on campus in Printing Services.

Additional workspaces exist in the Mobile Classroom Building, where many design foundation courses are taught and a dedicated Interior Design classroom and storage facilty are located.  Design history courses and guest lectures are housed in an impressive 75-seat smart lecture theater.

A hallway gallery displays VCD poster holdings and examples of successful studio projects.
