Wed. Oct. 17, 2018: Associate professor of psychology, Jeannie DiClementi is awarded $369,000 Grant for Mental Health Awareness and Training Program

Professor, Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences, Director of the Environmental Resources Center, Dr. Bruce Kingsbury comments on Indiana Senatorial candidates thoughts on climate in the latest debate.

Joshua Bacon (Graduate student, professional Communications) was named a Laureate for the National Communication Association James L. Golden Outstanding Student Essay in Rhetoric AwardBacon's essay was entitled From the Sea: The Mermaid as a Symbol of Hong Kong Identity.

Technical Report Writing course students are charged with writing a multi-step proposal to solve a problem in their communities. Jarrod Hahn wrote a successful pitch resulting in partial funding to renovate Bluffton, Indiana's downtown clock tower.

Deanna Wooley, the coordinator of the History Department’s Public History Program, was awarded an Indiana Humanities Grant to support the History Department’s collaboration with North Side High School to commemorate the school’s centennial celebration. Indiana Humanities will be funding equipment and software to hold History Harvests that will result in a North Side centennial book. Professor Wooley will collaborate with Purdue Fort Wayne and North Side High School students to start creating the digital presence via a History Harvest the first week of December 2018.
