The Department of History offers a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree, and a minor in history. In collaboration with the School of Education, the Department of History also offers a dual degree program in History (BA) and Secondary Education (BSED) that allows students to complete two degrees, a minor, and their teaching certification in four years.

The department also serves as administrative home for the minor in religious studies.

History majors are able to pursue other minors and certificates, such as the Honors Certificate, International Studies Certificate, Peace and Conflict Studies Certificate, Medieval Studies Minor and many others. While these programs are administered by other academic units, designated history courses satisfy requirements for these certificates and minors.
