You can download the course rotation as well as the timeline for the program as a 2-page .pdf document.

This list is for planning purposes only. Each semester the department will offer a minimum of one course in each category of mass communication/rhetoric, interpersonal/group/organizational, and research methods/specialized.

This course rotation allows a graduate student entering the program to complete all required courses in any four-semester span; however, this schedule is only a statement of intent. Personnel and budget circumstances may force a change in the specific courses offered.

Beginning Fall 2011, all incoming graduate students will be required to take COM 500 Intro to Grad Studies.  In addition, all grad students must take one (1) Methods course and three (3) theories courses in order to complete the degree.  These are outlined in our Degree Requirements.
