Transfer Single Articulation Pathway

Each Indiana state 4-year institution will develop a 2-year program for completion of a bachelor’s degree for a student who transfers with an associate’s degree from a Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) program. TSAP is a competency-based track designed to promote seamless transfer from either Ivy Tech Community College or Vincennes University to a public 4-year institution. The competencies are intended to ensure that a student who earns an Associate of Science in Chemistry TSAP degree at one of these 2-year institutions will be prepared to successfully complete the corresponding baccalaureate degree program in Chemistry or Bachelor of Science Chemistry (B.S.C.) with a major in Chemistry accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS) at Purdue Fort Wayne in no more than two additional years (60 credit hours). The candidates for the TSAP are advised to work with a Chemistry advisor to ensure that additional general education requirements are met to ensure a timely graduation. Likewise, additional advising is crucial to ensure school-specific requirements are met before transferring.

To be eligible, a student must:

  • have met the TSAP and STGEC eligibility guidelines as defined by Indiana Code,
  • have graduated with the TSAP associate degree,
  • have met all the admission requirements (e.g., minimum GPA, minimum course grades, etc.) of the TSAP program at the 4-year institution, and
  • have been admitted to the campus AND into the degree program as a TSAP student.
