Bill Headlee is a Fort Wayne native, and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1994 from Purdue West Lafayette. headlee photo

Immediately after graduation, he started his engineering career at Navistar in Fort Wayne.  While at Navistar, he received an M.B.A. (2004) and M.S.E. (2010) from Purdue Fort Wayne. In 2011, Bill left Navistar to work as a program manager at Ultra Electronics – USSI in Columbia City, and in June 2018 was promoted to Director of Engineering.

Bill has been active in the Boy Scouts of America for nearly 40 years. He received the Eagle Scout award in 1989, served as an assistant scoutmaster at several troops, and is currently a registered leader at Cub Scout Pack 3049 (Leo, IN), where his son David and daughter Piper are both Cub Scouts.  Bill has been an active member of the Fort Wayne Region Sports Car Club of America for nearly 20 years, and is a past board member of the local club.

Bill is also a member of the Strengths Network through the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, and a member of the Indiana Tech Industry Advisory Council for Mechanical Engineering.
