Professional Background

Brooke Sellhorn is the Clinical Director of the Counselor Education Program.  Originally from Fort Wayne, she earned her B.A. from Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri where she also competed on their NCAA Division I volleyball team.  She went on to obtain her M.A. from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois in 2007.  Brooke is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She has over ten years of experience counseling individuals, couples, and families.  Brooke is trained in attachment-based interventions, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis management, and family systems. As a clinical supervisor for the past six years, she has enjoyed overseeing interns, developing new clinicians, and training clinical skills to therapists.  Additionally, she has conducted seminars and spoken at conferences as she is passionate about educating the public on mental health concerns, emotional wellness, and healthy relationships.  Brooke is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
