Class Profile

Phillip Stoller is a co-founder and former CFO of Perma-Column, Inc. started in 2001.The company developed, patented, and produced permanent, eco-friendly foundation systems for post-frame buildings. Phillip sold his interest in the company in 2014 after the company had expanded to 9 locations across the U.S. and Canada. In 2014, Phillip started Stoller Product Development Group which helps companies convert their intellectual property into revenue streams, new divisions, locations, and product lines.  Besides that he also did some consulting work in the seed research industry, heavy equipment manufacturing industry and food manufacturing industry to name a few.
Sylvia FengSylvia Feng earned her BA degrees from Beloit College with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. She then went into the engineering industry.  Sylvia is a certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt capable of gathering, analyzing data, applying LSS tools to realize measurable lead time reduction, quality and reliability improvement.  She loves the challenge and likes to go deep into the technical side.  She is a troubleshooter and loves to work closely with a diverse group of customers and help them solve their problems. Sylvia is now working as an Application Engineer in Sr. Field with Regal-Beloit Corporation.  Sylvia's long term career goal is to lead a business or an organization.
Lash Marla Marla Lash graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. She utilized that degree in litigation support related to construction projects.  With a firm based in New Jersey, she analyzed schedule delays and cost overruns to determine responsibility. She has built business management skills from her working experience, such as financial management, accounting, business simulation models and etc. Lash now works as a Pricing Analyst in Essex-Brownell.
Rachel Faulkner
Rachel L. Faulkner gained her Bachelor of Science in Business in IPFW.  She has experience with program development and is knowledgeable of Joint Commissions and State hospital standards.  Rachel has managed process improvement measures and formatted hospital's response to the Indiana State Survey.  She has the ability to utilize critical thinking skills in order to perform at an optimal level. Rachel's background includes Quality management and Program Development. She is now working as a Quality Coordinator in DuPont Hospital.
Zeimet GrantGrant Zeimet graduated from the University of Iowa with Mechanical Engineering major and minor in Mathematics.  He has  worked for Eaton Corporation as Operations Supervisor, Supply Chain Analyst for Eaton Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineer, Torque Control Products. He  chose IPFW MBA for location, accreditation, and accelerated nature. He also has a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt, Eaton Quality Institute. Shaun R. WendelShaun R. Wendel is a Financial Analyst  at Star Financial Bank, Fort Wayne, IN . He worked for Rose-Hulman Intramurals as a supervisor.  Shaun also worked as an Engineering Intern for Stuart Manufacturing. Shaun completed his BS degree with double major in Economics and Mechanical Engineering. In the short term, he is looking for some growth in current position. In the long run he would like to make it to a leadership role.
Adam WalkerAdam Walker has been working as a Quality Supervisor for Eaton Corporation since October 2014. He has 3 years experience as Senior Engineer and 2 years as product engineer. Adam completed his BS in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Concentration. Also, he has an affiliation in Gamma Sigma Alpha-Greek honor society. He choose this program because it was recommended by several peers that he works with. He is pursuing his MBA in hopes that it will not only offer him the opportunity to learn skills to enhance his current job performance but also open more career opportunities in the future. Alicia BauerAlicia Bauer earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from IPFW in Health Services Administration.  She is employed by Heritage Pointe as a nurse and MDS Coordinator.  The MDS Coordinator position was a major motivating factor in Alicia's decision to attain an MBA.  As an IPFW graduate, she is proud to be furthering her education with IPFW’S professional MBA program.  Alicia's long term goals are greater financial and job security and flexibility.  Alicia has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and Community Harvest Food Bank.
Plaza-RubenRuben Joel Plaza hails from Puerto Rico. He has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from the Art Institute of Houston and a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Science (CIS) from St. Edwards University. Following the completion of his Associate’s Degree, he worked as a CAD Designer for over 10 years, holding a diverse number of positions. Considering the evolution of Information Technology, he decided to pursue the MBA program with the objective of becoming a manager/leader for a global IT team and also to obtain the training needed to take a better control of his finances and investments. Powers-AndrewAndrew Powers graduated from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University with a Bachelor’s in Management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a minor in business. A short term professional goal of Andrew is to accumulate the business knowledge and learn to understand how decisions are made at an upper level in his company (Frontier Communications) and use that knowledge to increase his value to the company. His long term professional goal is to become a high level leader within the industry.  Andrew is currently a volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organiztion that nurtures children and strengthens communities. 
Nick Graham
Nick Graham is currently a Business Unit Manager at Kraft Foods Inc. He
grew up in Philadelphia, completed high school in Reno. He attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business,IU-Bloomington and graduated in 2002 with BS in Management, Distribution Management and Marketing. He began as supervisor in Excel-Indianapolis,IN and grew up the organization chart to leave as a General Manager from Excel-Philadelphia,PA. His roles included start-ups, supervisory, operations management, supply planning, and customer development. He has keen interests in social initiatives and has volunteered for Big Brother Big Sisters at different stances during 2011-2014.
Saleem Mohammed Saleem Mohammed  graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University.  His  major was Business Administration and he minored in Human Resource. Currently he works for Walmart Logistics as an Area Manager QA system, in Auburn Indiana since 2011. He has eighteen years of experience managing corporate affairs such as accounts, inventory management, recruiting, global logistics, developing teams, and quality assurance management. Before coming to Walmart he was District Manager at My Menu Inc. where he analyzed and organized all areas of operations, instituted plans, policies and controls to support business goals. He has shown commitment to efficiency and productivity that carries through entire organization.
Ruby Gonzalez Ruby Gonzalez earned her PhD in Science at University of Melbourne. She is an experienced research scientist who has focused on understanding contributions and roles of genetic abnormalities in cancer development and progression by implementing biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and epigenetic approaches to study leukemia. Her research offers outstanding application of interdisciplinary and cross-functional platforms within top tier academic settings, industry, and public health sectors. She believes the professional MBA program will prepare her with skills and knowledge necessary to become a more entrepreneurial leader and contribute to innovative approaches in delivering discovery and implementation. Krishna PutrevuKrishna Putrevu is a Sr. ETL Consultant in Populus Group LLC . With 9.5+ years of overall experience in the field of Information Technology and 8+ years on Data Warehousing and Database Applications he worked in all phases of traditional software life cycle (SDLC) & Agile/Scrum methodologies as Database and Data Warehousing developer. Krishna has experience in planning and designing hardware and software solutions for customized projects. He wants to gain management skills through MBA, and move to the next level of the hierarchy system.  Krishna also holds a Masters in Engineering.  Krishna's long term goals are to gain more knowledge with real time experience, become senior manager, and establish his own business with financial stability.
Jones-JeffreyJeffrey Jones comes to IPFW with a tremendous amount of business and technology experience. He completed his BA in accounting from University of Technology-Jamaica,W.L. and Business studies from Royal Society of Arts, London. He has worked as Cost manager, Senior Accountant/Auditor, Director of Quality Management, Senior Accountant in the past and currently he is a Business Analyst & Software Trainer at Britannia, Inc, Fort Wayne. In the long run he wants to run his own business offering consulting in financial management and operations to medium and small firms.  Jeffrey would also li8ke to be an adjunct instructor in business at the college level. McAllister-LeVonLeVon J. McAllister joined IPFW in June 2014 with a personal commitment to improve customer satisfaction of ITS. Since then, he has led cross-functional teams analyzing and delivering operational enhancements in support of strategic missions. Skilled in project management, technical and procedural development, End User training, and support services his experiences have provided service to organizations such as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Roosevelt University, the City Colleges of Chicago, Nuveen Investments, Rockwell Automation, the University of Chicago, Adoptions Unlimited, Dean Foods, and many more.
Marcus GoodenMarcus Gooden completed his BS in Public Health from IU Bloomington, Indiana. Currently he is working as HR & Payroll Manger at Home Health Care Agency, LLC. He has also served as Customer Service Advisor in Sears Holdings. His long term goal is to become a CEO of one of the big health care providers and that’s where he thinks a professional MBA at IPFW will help him.  Marcus wants to implement his visions of how a vertical and horizontal integrated healthcare company should be run.  After becoming a CEO of a healthcare system, he would like to switch his efforts to engaging in healthcare policy.
 Ham-Ying II-PhilipPhilip Ham-Ying was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He graduated from IPFW with major in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 2010. Currently he works as Senior Account Executive for United Parcel Service of America,Inc where he helps customer cut costs, improve efficiencies and increase sales.  In the short run he is looking forward to some vertical growth at his current company and in the long run he wants to start his own business.  Philip has volunteered for elementary wrestling club at Carroll High School, Junior Achievement, United Way, Indianapolis Mni-Marathon and JCI Indianapolis.
Kimou Jr. FrancisFrancis Kimou, Jr. works at Ecolab as the Production Manager for the Huntington Indiana Chemical Health Care Plant. He has a Quality and Engineering Management background. Also, he has worked as a Crew chief. He chose IPFW because of the reputation and accreditation of the MBA program. In the short term he would like to become a Plant Manager for Ecolab and in the long term a President or Vice-President on the supply chain side for Ecolab. Aziz-AbdulAbdul Aziz Abdul completed his undergraduate with dual major in business marketing and business management from IPFW. He was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He started his entrepreneurial venture SWAAK Associates LLC at the age of 19. SWAAK Associates is a dry-cleaning and coin laundry. He is pursuing a professional MBA at IPFW to complement his business knowledge that he hopes will allow him to expand and diversify his current business.
Ed StutzEd Stutz was raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a BA in Administration. After serving time in the U.S. Army, he began working at the managerial level at Taco Bell where he learned the business. Eventually he was recruited by Arby's Restaurant Group.  He was then asked to take on more responsibility in a  Franchise Business.  Then he went on to become a Director of Operations in Pennsylvania leading 6 multi-unit managers.  Currently he is a Director of Operations at Arby's in  the State of Indiana.  Ed is looking to lead a major restaurant chain at the executive level over the next 5 years and believes the MBA program will help him reach that goal.
Jennifer DressenJennifer Ann Dressen completed her BA of Arts, Political Science with concentration in International Relations and Hindi as minor. Dressen is the Director at ELS Language Centre since 2013.  As ELS director she promotes IPFW as a viable option for international students. Jennifer has realized that a large portion of education and the success of private institution depend on the smart choices based on data, which sets the institution up for sustainability.  She wants to continue in the field of International Education and understand the business side of it and that’s where she believes MBA at IPFW will help her.
JJ GarciaJJ Garcia earned her General Studies degree from IPFW. She minored in Criminal Justice during her undergraduate studies. She is now working at IPFW as an office coordinator. JJ is excited to be in the professional MBA program at IPFW. She plans to use skills learned through IPFW MBA  for organizing her business and non-profit endeavors.  She believes that the future is wide open for people willing to keep learning and thus, never gives up. Jones TimTim Jones graduated from IPFW with a B.S. in Business in 1995.  During most of his career he has been  a customer service manager in manufacturing. He has over 15 years of supervisory experience.  In his current role he manages the new product development process, working with all areas of the business to coordinate the various tasks required to develop and release new products. His current position is Engineering Operations Manager in PHD. Inc.
Lawrence Manuel Lawrence Manuel graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2004 with concentrations in marketing, operations management, and distribution logistics. Lawrence has been the Director of Strategic Accounts at Biomet Inc. in Warsaw, Indiana since 2012. While he grew up in theWarsaw area, he spent time in Florida and Southern Indiana working in Sales. Following graduation,Lawrence hopes to use the skills learned in the MBA program to broaden his leadership abilities in orderto obtain his longterm goal of assuming a senior leadership role in his company. Megger RyanRyan Megger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Since 2013, he has been a Product Surveillance Engineer at Zimmer Holdings in Warsaw, Indiana. Ryan is originally from Chardon, Ohio. He plans on using his MBA degree from IPFW to initially become a Director of Engineering within the orthopedic industry and, in the longterm, start his own biomedical consulting firm.
Jia LiJia Li earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Molecular Biology and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2007. He is also working on a Masters in Systems Engineering from Purdue University. Jia has spent time in Beijing, Oakland, Toronto, Ottawa, Singapore, and Detroit. He has worked at Zimmer Inc. in Warsaw, Indiana since 2010 and he currently holds a position as a Principal Engineer in the Custom Products division. Jia hopes to use his MBA to move into a leadership role and eventually a product development management role.
Ensley JoeJoseph Ensley graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Science with a Computer Science concentration from Purdue University. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Joseph has been employed by Broadridge Financial Solutions as a Senior Programmer Analyst since 2008. He hopes to develop strong business acumen through the MBA program and eventually obtain an upper management role where his decisions affect the direction of the company.
Cordes JohnJohn Cordes is an IPFW alum who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2012. He was born and raised in Garrett, Indiana where he currently resides. John has worked for Eaton Corporation for the past ten years and is currently the Product Support Manager. He hopes to use his MBA to gain needed skills to fill his current role but would like to enter the product planning areas in a management role in the longterm.
Coleman Amber Amber McElhiney earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Environmental Health in 2008. She has a minor in Organizational Leadership Supervision, as well. Amber is employed with Eaton Corporations as a Manufacturing Manager in Van Wert, Ohio. She has held positions in Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. Amber is hoping to be promoted to a plant manager after obtaining her MBA and eventually pursue a role in talent management.
Creekmore Crystal Crystal Creekmore is currently employed at SYM Financial Advisors in Warsaw, Indiana. She started her career at SYM upon graduation from IPFW in June of 2000. She accepted an entry level position at SYM and began her career as a Client Service Representative and after several other promotions, was ultimately promoted to Vice President of Operations. She is currently responsible for their trading department, financial planning team, along with ensuring day to day operations are running smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Clawson David David Clawson graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from IPFW. David works at J.D. Byrider Systems, LLC as the Treasury Services Manager in the Accounting Department and has been with them since 2008. He is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana but currently resides in Indianapolis. In the long term, David hopes to use his MBA to obtain a position as a Vice President of Financial Planning or beyond.
Coleman Amber Amber Coleman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2006 from State University of New York in Cortland, New York. She currently works for Parkview Health as a Pharmacy Compliance Officer. She has worked at Parkview since 2007. Amber is originally from Johnson City/Binghamton, New York. After she receives her MBA, Amber wants to move up the corporate ladder within Parkview and enhance her abilities to be a strategic level thinker. 
Sharone RawsonSharone Rawson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2003 from Colorado University. She has been the Director of Analytics at Verde Associates in Chicago, Illinois since 2014. Sharone’s hometown is Chicago. She is hoping that her MBA will help her as she plans on using her background in Apparel design combined with her experience as an analyst to eventually pursue her own business.  
Aimee JohnsonAimee Johnson grew up in Huntington, Indiana but currently resides in Roanoke, Indiana with her 14-year old son and dog. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from IPFW in 2008. Aimee works as a Senior Auditor at Defense Contract Audit Agency (a division of the Department of Defense) and has been employed there since 2008. After graduation, she would like to obtain a supervisory position within her agency or a Forensic Accountant position with FBI.
