Dr. Kim received his Ph.D. in Economic from Claremont Graduate University in 2006.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Kim’s teaching interests includes international economics and general economics. Dr. Kim emphasizes the theoretical aspects of problem solving and critical thinking.

Research Interests

Dr. Kim’s research is in the areas of international economics.

Highlights of Community Service

Dr. Kim joined Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne faculty in 2008 after serving one year at the State University of New York New Paltz and one year at the University of North Georgia (formerly known as Gainesville State College) as an assistant professor.

Dr. Kim is a member of the American Economic Association, Korea-America Economic Association (Lifetime Member), Omicron Delta Epsilon and Western Economics Association International. Dr. Kim is a referee for Applied Economics, Global Economy JournalJournal of International Trade & Economic Development and Journal of Media Economics. He also serves as the editor of the Journal of Global Business and Trade.
