CAA Summer String Camp CelloThe Community Arts Academy, a division of the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) at Purdue University Fort Wayne, offers a wide range of instruction in art, music, theatre and dance for students in grades pre-K-12. Classes focus on the artistic process, encouraging culturally enriching opportunities for enjoyment as well as advanced study in the arts. The CAA is recognized as a broad-based arts alternative, supplementing traditional school classroom arts instruction. By sharing the same facilities utilized by university students, the program acquaints students and their families to the accessibility and benefits of the university environment on the Purdue Fort Wayne campus. Students study art, music, theatre and dance in a positive, supportive environment.

CAA Theatre Masters StudentsQuality teaching is the highest priority of the CAA. The instructors, experts in their arts fields, are comprised of Purdue Fort Wayne faculty or outstanding community arts teachers. A few are selected Purdue Fort Wayne arts majors who teach under faculty supervision.
