Student Body President Candidates

The Student Body President serves as the spokesperson for the student body and the chief executive for IPSGA.

2018 Candidates:

Lewis Ostermeyer

Lewis Ostermeyer is currently a junior at IPFW majoring in both Physics and Political Science. He has been actively involved on campus in many ways, including serving as a student senator for the past three years, founding the IPFW chapter of the College Republicans, and being a member of the Society of Physics Students. In the spring 2017 semester Lewis interned at the Indiana House of Representatives, where he worked directly for three legislators, and was a liaison between the legislators and their constituents. Lewis hopes to be a voice for all students to the university administration. Some of his goals include ensuring that Purdue Fort Wayne continues the legacy of IPFW, increasing student involvement on campus, and encouraging stronger relations and transparency between the branches of Student Government.
