We returned to Northern Ireland for the fifth time in March of 2018.  We actually stayed in the village which served as our home during our first visit in 2007: Annalong, a seaside village in County Down at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.  We spent the week engaged in a lot of youth ministry in another village called Kilcooley.  In the first photo above, you can see the team helping young Irish children do a craft project at one of our after school Bible clubs.  We also were given the opportunity to conduct school assemblies at two elementary schools during the week, Annalong Primary School (second picture) and Brackenagh West (third picture).  Our students sang songs, performed a skit, prayed with the students and shared stories of faith with them.  The freedom to share faith in public schools in Northern Ireland is amazing.  Our host and partner ministry in Northern Ireland is Adventure Leadership Training directed by our friends Desi and Pamela Fisher.  Their son Michael directs an archery program called Elite Archery in Bangor.  In the fourth image above, you can see some of our team and some of the students who participate in this program enjoying a "go" putting an arrow on the target.  We spent time with these children all week, building relationships and telling them that the Lord loves them.  On our mission trips, we have had the privilege to worship all over the world with brothers and sisters in Christ.  This trip was no exception.  In the fifth image above, we are enjoying a Sunday morning service with a small group of evangelical believers called Analong Christian Fellowship.  We provided music, testimonies and a sermon, delivered by Campus Minister Ben Gates, for the service.  We also ministered to a church scouting program in the church where we were conducting the after school Bible clubs.  In the sixth photo above, you can see our team sharing a group shot with the Bears and Cubs and their leaders.  It is great fun to build relationships with local ministries like this one.  The last picture above shows our entire team (21 of us) standing in front of a small stable we helped to pay for to house a horse owned by Adventure Leadership Training on land they own called "Eagle Creek."  Eagle Creek is a special place we always visit when we travel to Northern Ireland--a place where individuals and families can come for restoration and healing through the Presence of Jesus on this scenic land dedicated to His glory.  The land is next to the sea at the foot of the Mournes--so majestic and beautiful!
