Get to Know Sunila:
Sunila is proud to call Fort Wayne her city and her home. She enjoys checking out local happenings around Fort Wayne with her family and friends. A few of her interests include basketball, music, cars, HGTV, bike riding, and brunch. Sunila began her journey at IPFW as a senior in high school through the Collegiate Connection program and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs. During her time at IPFW, Sunila was involved on campus, which made her college experience a fulfilling one. She was a member of the student government judicial court. She also worked as a Student Admission's Representative, which is what sparked her interest in having a career in higher education one day. Sunila wanted to continue her education after completing her bachelor's degree, so she decided to attend law school and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Sunila wanted to take the skills she acquired from her legal background and use them to follow her dream of working in higher education. She has been teaching college students for a few years and has found working with students to promote student success to be a rewarding experience. Sunila wanted to continue following her passion of working with students so she joined the Admission's Team at her Alma Mater in order to help students pursue and achieve their college goals.
