Campus Events

See what’s happening on campus.

You can easily find something to do at Purdue Fort Wayne that will enrich your college experience. Cultural events, academic lectures, social activities, and entertainment events are happening nearly every week. Keep up with what’s going on.

Campus Calendar

Students can check the university event calendar throughout the year to see what is happening each week. Most events on campus are free of charge and open to all students.

Student Activities Board Events

The Student Activities Board (SAB) puts on events throughout the year, including Welcome Back Week, Homecoming, and Spring Fling. These events typically offer free food, giveaway items, entertainment, and opportunities to relax with friends outside of class.

Academic Events

Academic departments host a number of events, including brown bag lunch lectures, conferences, and networking events. Students should check with their departments and the campus event calendar to learn about these opportunities.

Omnibus Lecture Series

For 20 years, we have welcomed respected speakers in politics, science, business, and the arts to campus with the Omnibus Lecture Series. Past speakers include Governor Mitch Daniels, actor Sean Astin, and Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.

Art and Theatre

Check out a musical or play at Williams Theatre or see artwork from your fellow students at one of the many art exhibits on display.

Career and Internship Fairs

These events, hosted by the Office of Career Services, are a great opportunity for current students to network with potential employers and find internships to supplement their formal education.
