Dr. Sam Gharehdaghi earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal–Fluid Sciences, at the University of Nevada–Las Vegas, his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Conversion, at the University of Tehran, and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the K. N. Toosi University of Technology. Sam has years of engineering experience that he takes to his classes and shares with his students. His research interests focus on a broad range of experimental assessment and computational simulation of thermal–fluid systems and materials characterization. Particularly, Dr. Gharehdaghi is interested in interdisciplinary research that helps to reduce human-emitted greenhouse gases, enhance the energy efficiency, and reduce the cost for the end-users.
